Why I created Maison Cat

I know what it is like to leave them behind.

I have had cats in my life since I was six, and today I have two of my own.

When you travel, finding someone to look after your cat is only part of the problem. The harder part is finding someone you trust enough that you do not spend the whole trip wondering whether everything is okay.

I created Maison Cat to offer the kind of care I would look for myself: personal, attentive, easy to communicate with and provided by someone who genuinely understands that cats do not all respond the same way.

The result is deliberately small and direct. You send the request, I review it, and—if the dates and care are a suitable fit—I am the person responsible for following through.

Rates, minimums, transportation and optional additions are shown before you ask for availability.

The website collects the request, but a person decides whether the dates, setting and care needs are a responsible fit.

Updates with meaning

Stay With Me includes regular photos or videos so you can see how your cat is settling in while you are away.

Comfort at their pace

Some cats seek attention immediately and others need time. Both responses are treated as normal.

What I can promise

The request will be treated like a real conversation.
