I know what it’s like to leave them behind.
I’ve had cats in my life since I was six, and today I have two of my own.
When you travel, finding someone to look after your cat is only part of the problem. The harder part is finding someone you trust enough that you don’t spend the whole trip wondering whether everything is okay.
That’s why I created Maison Cat — to offer the kind of care I’d look for myself: personal, attentive, easy to communicate with, and provided by someone who genuinely understands cats.

Starting example: one cat for 3 days ($450) plus Vancouver round-trip transportation ($50) = $500. Priority Care is not an emergency veterinary service and does not receive long-stay discounts.

01What’s the minimum booking?
Stay With Me and Care At Your Home have a 7-day minimum. Priority Care has a 3-day minimum and is only for care beginning within 72 hours.
02What’s included in the $100/day per cat Stay With Me rate?
The rate is charged for each cat and includes regular feeding, fresh water, clean bowls, litter care, cleaning, play, companionship, personal attention, and regular photo or video updates.
03Is food included?
Regular feeding is included. You can provide your cat’s normal food, or standard high-quality food may be provided where appropriate and approved. Keeping your cat’s usual diet is generally encouraged.
04What is Special Diet Care?
The optional $20/day per cat add-on only applies when meals need additional preparation or an unusually involved feeding routine. Standard feeding is always included.
05Will I receive photos?
Yes. Daily photo or video updates are part of the Stay With Me experience, with additional updates available on reasonable request.
06Will the same person care for my cat?
Yes. Maison Cat is currently solo-operated, so you deal directly with the person caring for your cat.
07Can my cat stay with you?
Yes, subject to availability and suitability. Share a few details through the availability request and I’ll review them personally.
08Can you care for my cat at my home?
Yes. Care At Your Home is available at $45/hour per cat for booking periods of at least 7 days. Your requested care schedule will be reviewed before an estimate is confirmed.
09What is Priority Care?
Priority Care is urgent boarding or a last-minute Stay With Me request beginning within 72 hours. It is $150/day per cat, has a 3-day minimum, requires one round trip for pickup and drop-off, and starts from $500 for one cat in Vancouver. It is subject to availability and is not an emergency veterinary service.
10Do you offer pickup and drop-off?
Yes, in selected Metro Vancouver areas. Each listed amount covers one round trip: pickup at the start and drop-off at the end. It is charged once per booking, not per cat. Priority Care requires transportation.
11What is the cancellation policy?
Before confirmation and payment there is no fee. Confirmed bookings cancelled 14 or more days before care receive a full refund; 7–13 days receive 50%; less than 7 days, no-shows and early returns are non-refundable. Priority Care is non-refundable once accepted. Emergencies are considered case by case, and mandatory consumer rights still apply.
12Do I pay through the website?
No. No payment information is collected when you request availability.
13Does submitting the form confirm my booking?
No. I’ll personally review your dates and your cat’s needs before confirming availability and final details.
14How will you contact me?
Maison Cat replies by email. You can use the availability form or email hello@maisoncat.ca directly.
